About our Speaker
Sheri Call / President and CEO of the Washington Trucking Associations
Sheri Call, employed by the Washington Trucking Associations since 2001, currently serves as the organizations President & CEO; a position she has held since 2016. She has a dual role; both managing the Association and performing its lobby functions. Sheri is a current Executive Board Member of the Washington Highway Users Federation, serves on the NORPASS Board, and the Puget Sound Regional Council Transportation Policy Board. Sheri represents freight in Washington State on the Community Advisory Group for the Interstate Bridge Replacement Project and serves on the Washington Workers Comp Advisory Committee. Sheri currently serves as stakeholder representative on several collaboratives concerning medium and heavy duty zero emission vehicle purchase incentives and development of demo projects in and around Washington State.
After moving to Washington State in 1994, Sheri spent her career in freight related businesses from heavy duty truck part manufacturers to distributorships. Sheri previously served as a representative of the trucking industry on the Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board (FMSIB) and Washington's Freight Advisory Committee.
Sheri graduated from the University of Utah and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
About the Transportation Club of Seattle
The Transportation Club of Seattle has been at the center of the Seattle area transportation community for over 113 years. Founded in 1910, the club was formed to encourage the study by members of transportation issues; promote closer business relationships, promote the welfare of its membership as well as to sponsor educational programs and discussions pertaining to traffic and transportation matters. The club holds monthly lunch and learn meetings throughout the year, provides an annual golf tournament to support the Scholarship Fund and also supports the Salvation Army through its annual holiday auction. The Transportation Club of Seattle is a member of the Logistics & Transportation Association of North America
