MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Directory and Holiday Event Committee
I'm excited to serve as President of the Transportation Club of Seattle for 2022! As some past and current (and future) members may know, it was my great honor to serve as TCS Executive Director from 2011 through 2017. It will be a fun year for me as I get back into the swing of things.
First of all, I want to thank Past Presidents Jace Thompson (2020) and Terri (Danz) Tederman (2021), for guiding the Club through the extraordinary and unusual "Covid era". As I write these words it feels as if Covid's effect on the world is waning, so we're planning a return to in-person events this year.
My priorities as the Club's leader in 2022 will be (1) to grow membership and (2) to draw excellent and relevant speakers for our Lunch-n-Learns. How can you help? By spreading the word about the Club! Share with your clients and workmates and friends that joining the Transportation Club of Seattle (for just $60 a year) will present them with continuous networking opportunities as well as opportunities to grow professionally. TCS members interact with other industry associates and experts and leaders at every Club gathering, and I ALWAYS see people at our meetings and events exchanging business cards. There is just no downside to being a member of the Transportation Club of Seattle!
Please reach out to me at any time if you have questions, ideas or want to get further involved. The Transportation Club of Seattle was formed in 1910, and I'm proud to carry the torch as President in 2022.
