About Laura Yellig

As President and Chief Executive Officer of PetroCard Inc, the premier provider of commercial fleet fuel, lubricant, and bulk fuel management solutions in the Northwest, Laura has led the company through transformational change and growth, establishing a platform and vision for the future of commercial fuels. Laura Yellig holds a unique and diverse perspective from over 25 years of management and executive leadership experience in the petroleum industry. Laura has inspired growth in people, processes, and strategies in business segments ranging from the refinery to the end consumer.  As a leader in commercial and industrial fueling, she believes it is PetroCard’s responsibility to guide our customers to the future of fuels and provide “now solutions” for greenhouse gas reduction in transportation activities.

Background:

Before starting her position at PetroCard in 2017, Laura enjoyed eighteen years in operations, sales, and executive leadership roles for Shell Oil where she spearheaded the implementation of a national automated inventory management and centralized dispatch operation for Shell’s more than 5,000 direct delivered service stations, professionally managed a portfolio of over 40 joint venture pipeline entities, and implemented Shell’s retail-to-wholesale channel strategy transition. Laura also gained valuable work and life perspectives as Vice President of Alaska Petroleum Distribution for Crowley Maritime. Laura drives a culture that emphasizes strong values and high performance and is adamant that employees maintain a constant perspective on the footprints we leave and the reasons we work.

Education:

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Operations Management and Logistics) from New Mexico State University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.

About PetroCard:

Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Kent, WA, PetroCard has grown to become a leading fuel business for commercial fleets. Services include fuel cards, bulk fueling, mobile fueling, marine fueling, retail branded contracts, and lubricant supply. The company operates 100 cardlocks (unattended commercial vehicle fueling sites) across Washington and Oregon states, the majority under the Pacific Pride and CFN name.

About the Transportation Club of Seattle

The Transportation Club of Seattle has been at the center of the Seattle area transportation community for over 113 years. Founded in 1910, the club was formed to encourage the study by members of transportation issues; promote closer business relationships, promote the welfare of its membership as well as to sponsor educational programs and discussions pertaining to traffic and transportation matters. The club holds monthly lunch and learn meetings throughout the year, provides an annual golf tournament to support the Scholarship Fund and also supports the Salvation Army through its annual holiday auction. The Transportation Club of Seattle is a member of the Logistics & Transportation Association of North America.
