The Transportation Club of Seattle Goes Virtual!

Greetings from the Transportation Club of Seattle!

The Club made history in May when it hosted its first ever virtual club meeting and it was a great success! The Board feels it is even more important to stay connected during the Covid situation, which led us to try out this new format. We had 50 members attend the meeting which featured Lieutenant (junior grade) Michelle Levano, the Officer-in-Charge of NOAA’s Navigation Response Team-Seattle. Her team performs critical work that helps ensure our marine transportation network is safe, keeping goods and people moving. Her presentation can be found at this link.

Given May’s success, we will again use Zoom to host our June meeting in a virtual format. Our speaker will be Dale Hylton who is the Director Business Development for Blue Skies Drone Services. Keep an eye out for the invitation to register.

As a reminder, the Club’s web site includes a page with current job openings and resumes of job seekers in the Transportation field. If you would like to advertise an opening at your company or have your resume listed on the web page, please contact and we will add it to the site. This is one example of how the Club is trying to serve its members.

Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you virtually in June!
