| Barb Bloemer of KLLM, presents the 2006 TCS Transportation Professional of the Year award to Dan Gatchet. Dan is the owner and General Manager of West Coast Trucking and received his award at the March 14th meeting. Dan has 25 years of experience in the transportation industry including working for a large steamship line and running a trucking company in Southern California. He started West Coast Trucking in 1993, and they now have 80 drivers performing domestic drayage and steamship line work. In addition to his active involvement with the TCS, Dan is the president of the Washington Trucking Associations, past chair of the California Trucking Association Intermodal Conference, a member of the American Trucking Association Intermodal Association and past chair of the Manufacturing Industrial Council of Seattle. Dan has a Bachelors degree from the UW Business School and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. We recognize Dan’s many contributions to the industry! March 14, 2007 |

| More than one hundred seventy five members and guests attended the April meeting to hear speaker Jim McKenna, President and CEO of the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA). It was a grand event! This was the annual joint meeting of the Seattle and Tacoma clubs as well, which added to the festive atmosphere.
