The TCS 105th Annual Golf tournament was a day of perfect weather, good company
and some pretty good golf.  Best of all, retired TCS member
Bill Poterbin, who
chaired the tournament from around 1950 to 1980, and for whom the traveling trophy
is named, came up from California just to see some old friends and greet the new
members.  Bill turned 90 on July 10th, leading many of the golfers to say, "Man, I
hope I'm hanging around
the 10th hole at a golf tournament a week after MY 90th birthday!"

Thanks to
Tournament Chairman Jim Gillingham of UBS Financial Services and golf
committee members Art Scheunemann of Northwest Container Services and Kevin
Boldt of McKinney Trailers and Containers for their work, and to tournament helpers,
greeters and photographers Trish Eimer, Stephanie Kang of the Port of Seattle and
TCS Executive Director Gordon Neumiller.

Part of the proceeds from the 2008 tournament will help support the TCS Scholarship
fund, so thanks to all who participated!
