A good time was had by all (except the Mariners, who
lost to the Yankees by a score of 11-1) at the Annual
Baseball and BBQ.  The rain didn't stop 42 brave fans
from enjoying a fun evening.  The Club thanks Steve
Wilson (left) of Western Ports for doing the grilling and
Steve Stivala (Yankees shirt, bottom left) of MacMillan
Piper for providing the location for the event.   Also in
attendance were future TCS members Jack Boldt
(right) who came with dad Kevin, and Bridgette
Shelton, who was there with dad Greg.

members and guest at the June
12th Emerald Downs TCS Night at
the Races.  (Shown above in the
Turf Club.)

scholarship from the TCS on June 10.

TCS Board Members Steve Balaski of APL (red
shirt) and Julie Sanchez of TOTE (dark blue

the May 17th "Beat the Bridge" event, which
supports a finding better treatments and a cure
for diabetes.  Steve plans to organize a bigger
TCS team next year, so all you runners and
walkers, stay tuned!  Or better yet, contact Steve
and help organize the team!

December 10, 2008: Thanks to the many
donors, bidders and helpers who made our
15th annual Salvation Army fundraiser so
successful.  The $8,960 raised will help
Maynard Sargent and the other 'Army folks
help many families in this time of great need.  
This brings our total donations to $69,000.

The April 8th annual joint meeting (hosted by the
TCS this year) was a great event.  More than 150
transportation professionals from both clubs
heard a great presentation and made important
